TurboDictate collects minimal data necessary to provide voice-to-text transcription:
- Audio Recordings: Temporary voice recordings captured when you use the dictation feature
- Transcription Text: The converted text from your voice recordings
- Language Preference: Your selected transcription language (English or Arabic)
2. How We Use Your Data
- Audio recordings are sent to our transcription service to convert speech to text
- Transcription history is stored locally on your device for your convenience
- Language preferences are used to improve transcription accuracy

Your audio recordings are immediately deleted after transcription is complete. We do not store, retain, or archive any audio files on any server.
3. Data Storage & Security
- Local Storage: All transcription history is stored exclusively on your device
- No Cloud Sync: We do not upload or sync your transcriptions to any cloud server
- Encryption: All data transmission uses secure HTTPS encryption
- Your Control: You can delete your transcription history at any time within the app
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party service to provide transcription functionality:

5. App Permissions
TurboDictate requires the following permissions:
- Microphone: Required to record your voice for transcription
- Internet: Required to send audio to the transcription service
- Storage: Required to temporarily save audio files before processing
6. Your Rights
You have full control over your data:
- Access: View all your transcriptions in the History tab
- Delete: Remove individual transcriptions or clear all history
- Portability: Copy any transcription to use elsewhere
- Opt-out: Simply uninstall the app to remove all local data
7. Children's Privacy
TurboDictate is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
